[A00070 – 18/04/2018]Dear All,
The time has come to write to you again, 3 months has passed since the last newsletter; 3 months of our lives never to be re-lived, 3 months in which God has been watching over us, recording our lives, and making note of our rebellion and sins and failures. We are therefore thankful for His mercy and grace, that He has made a way in which he does not remember our sins any more. He, in the fullness of time sending His Son the Lord Jesus to come into the world as the Lamb of God; the Sovereign God becoming subject to His own law, keeping it to the letter and dying on the cross to redeem His people from the curse of the broken law. As our Master was ever busy in His Father’s work whilst here on earth, let us each who love Him and serve Him redeem our time here below because our time is fast passing away.
Ephesians 5 – ‘See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit’
In January we began the new timetable for the church service, with the Bible study for the adults and Sunday school for the children both starting in separate buildings at 10 o’clock.
